Welding points and seams are specifically wetted and fully protected with minimal material and energy input - process-reliable and documentable. No more wasting resources by manually applying wax or flooding cavities. No more cleaning effort - neither from wax runners from cavities nor from wax carry-over in the production line.
MINIMUM QUANTITY CAVITY SEALING
Apply preservative waxes selectively and economically
- Suitable for all cavities in car bodies and add-on parts
- Both 100% wax and water-based protective waxes can be used
- Even the smallest quantities can be dosed with maximum accuracy
- Accurate application thanks to robot-guided nozzle only on the areas to be protected
- Two application methods available: AirLess – spray air-free – for precise application to welding points and seams; AirMix for wetting 3D contours over large areas
- Application pattern can be switched between AirLess and AirMix during application
- Infinitely adjustable spray air pressure in the AirMix process, dosing quantity can be changed during the process
- Application distances between 5 mm and 500 mm – beyond this on request
- The full functional scope of the system is integrated into the production environment as a turnkey solution without interface risks and in accordance with applicable factory standards and process regulations.

AirLess and AirMix application
The material- and energy-efficient sealing of cavities with Polyplan systems fulfils all the requirements for sustainable production in the automotive industry. The application of liquid wax with robot-guided nozzles is limited to the areas to be protected in the cavities – a typical vehicle front door can be completely protected against corrosion with just 4.5 g of wax material.
